Production Values

Pleasure Boat Studio will maintain the highest possible production values. Thomson-Shore and Hignell (in Canada) have manufactured most of our trade paperbacks. Our books are usually  printed on 60# Glat. Supple Opaque Recycled Natural (acid free) paper in black ink and covered with 12 pt. C1S white stock, sewn and glued (perfect bound), with layflat gloss lamination to prevent curling. The cover photographs are of museum quality. The books  have ISBNs, LCCNs, and Bookland EAN bar-codes. Our chapbooks are made by hand. Recently we've begun using Offset Paperback Manufacturers of Pennsylvania to do some of our books. We're pleased with their speed and quality. (Oh, and their price.)
